Snowed On

Everyone knows it's freezing outside, even in Florida! Here is our house's blog debut covered in a thin sheet of snow...

We moved in August 2009.

Here's the fenced-in backyard. We will never live in another location that does not have a fence! It's amazing for our two, big boys.

Those trees are so tall and amazing for privacy. It's even more closed in when the trees in the corners have their big leaves.

But the prettiest, thickest snow on our property, is on the brick path alongside the house that takes you to the gate of the backyard fence.

Philip and one of our best friends designed and created this brick path all by themselves! They used leftover bricks and stones that were in the backyard from the previous owner, bought a ton of sand {literally, a ton!} and laid down this cute brick path.

We love to joke and say we have a "waterfront property" and that whenever we decide to sell, that will be our winning advantage. {Check out the cute neighborhood gazebo in snow in the back right of the photo.}

We really do have the best lot in our neighborhood - no one else is right on the lake, has this view and only one neighbor!

The pups are loving playing in snow {now that our little one has a sweater on!} Our big boy is a shepherd/husky mix so he is just fine in this cold.

They love being boys and chasing after each other!

He hates his picture being taken and always looks away, so this is an extremely lucky shot! Look at that beautiful coat made for the winter :)

I don't know about you, but I've come to say that if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow! The ice on the roads is not fun, but our house looks so cute with the white fluff sprinkled everywhere.

Just found your blog! Your house is SO cute, and I love that neighborhood! Also, I feel totally dumb for not knowing it snows in Florida. (I'm in California.) And SUPER cute dogs, oh my goodness!!
