Our Wedding :: Father/Daughter Dance

I mentioned in one of my first posts about the ceremony that Disney is very special to me and my family. I asked my dad what he would like to dance to for our Father/Daughter dance and after some pondering he decided "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins from the movie Tarzan.

My dad always makes me laugh, even in sentimental moments.

Once the DJ asked everyone to join in dancing, my dad started to tell me that just because I'm married now, doesn't mean him and my mom aren't my parents anymore...

...that they weren't going to stop parenting, or caring, or calling to see what's going on in our lives...

...and after the laughing and sillyness of the conversation subsided, while he was still finishing up his parental "lecture", I knew that masked behind the words, he was trying to hold on.

All photos except the 1st are by Edward Zeltser Photography.

These pictures are so sweet! Glad to see you didn't ruin them like I ruined mine when I bawled like a baby during the whole dance haha.

Love the pictures!

I know I'm going to probably have tears streaming down my face and my dad is going to be doing his awkward dance.
