Getting ready as the girls gather 'round. "Single Ladies" by Beyonce was at the height of popularity, but it was too obvious to me. I had the DJ loop the Sex and the City theme song. It was perfect!
Onto the Garter Toss with Mr. P reaching in and putting on a little show ;)I knew I wanted to do a bouquet toss, but I wasn't sure about the garter toss. When I asked Mr. P if he wanted to {without mentioning my concerns} he said "of course, it's tradition". I didn't want to do the whole raunchy, head up-the-dress type garter toss and that was really my only reason for considering not doing it. When I told Mr. P what I wanted since we'd be in front of family and all, he was completely on board and made it fun, yet respectable.
Mid throw! Wish the actual garter got in the pic, but cute nonetheless.
Did/Do you have any concerns about the garter toss?
We played "I Know What Boys Like" by The Waitresses. Such snooty lyrics, but it was cute in this context especially with it being an 80's song. It was super fun.
